Cool Insects

We saw our first honey bee and it was loaded with pollen. It couldn’t fly, we took lots of photos.

We also saw a giant
wasp!! Actually a hornet. It attacked mummy at night (don’t worry it just buzzed around her ear, but it sounded like a drone!). She got a big fright. We haven't seen anymore though – thank goodness!

All that work collecting honey, and then not being able to fly! Poor bee. More great photos, Camille.

The photos do look great...that hornet had a huge sting in its tail....wouldn't want that to sting me !!...we used to have crows ,but they were considered a pest by the cropping farmers....think they were all shot.....going to pick granny up from the hospital tomorrow.... trust all is well.
