Messolonghi is a town up a narrow fishing hut/house lined canal. The lagoon at the end of the channel is the home to many birds and loads of turtles too. It's not on the tourist trail, but it is pretty special.
We had a quite night here and then dinghyed Paul and Robyn ashore so the could cycle to our next stop, between Petalas Island and the mainland. They had some adventures whilst ashore, and some close encounters with the wild life of there own.
We're an ordinary family of 5 dreaming, planning and now beginning our adventure around the Mediterranean (and further afield), having an awesome time! Look out for our boat and come and say hi.
