Mljet

Mljet is a reasonable large island with a national park at one end. You have to pay to enter the park and as as part of the deal you get to go on a ferry trip to visit an island on a lake in Mljet. An island within an island. On the island is a monastery, yet again the monks chose a prime spot. We took a walk around the lake which is now fed by the sea and took swims to cool off as we went.
