Another pretty town on the other side of Vis Island from Komiza. Again we ended up getting a mooring buoy, not cheap but Sam and I got to go ashore and have a nice lunch minus children happy that the boat was safe (oh and the children too!).
It was pretty quiet here - must be a short season for those who rely on tourism for a living.
Life after Hector project?
Couldn't resist checking up on the boat ..
Lunch. We ordered seafood cocktail thinking we get something resembling, although obviously not as good as, Grans version. Instead we got a cold risotto style rice with seafood, delicious -just not what we expected. We also had some great shrimps and the local beer. For dessert we discovered Madjaraka cake and Cvijet biscuits (fennel and brandy) - going to have to get a recipe!
We're an ordinary family of 5 dreaming, planning and now beginning our adventure around the Mediterranean (and further afield), having an awesome time! Look out for our boat and come and say hi.
