Fly, fly, fly
from dawn to dusk,
magic flows from screen to screen,
but behind the scenes you figure out the real way it goes.
We visited Harry Potter studios and went on a broomstick ride!
We went on a boat trip on the Thames. Did you know the word wharf is an acronym and it stands for warehouse at river front?
What is art when muddled with other forms. Art is art when called so by artists. Ilya with Emilia create some art that makes the world beautiful as it is.
At Tate I thought everything was inspirational and interesting.
The next day we went to the Harry Potter shop at platform 9 ¾ in Kings Cross Station. It was very cool. There were loads of things to buy and I had trouble deciding. I was going to buy a wand, but bought a time turner charm instead.
As soon as we got the London we went to Hamley's, it was big and crowded. The stuff was amazing!
I brought a top trump card game, Camille brought some cool magic pens, that when you went over it they would change colour. Maddy brought some slime. They had little stalls to show you how things work. It's a bit hard to explain how cool it was.
We left Lefkas and took the bus to Athens, it took 5 an a half hours, then we caught another bus to our apartment so we would be close to the airport. On the way we had a quick look at Athens and even saw a riot with police in full riot gear!
In the morning we took an early flight to London. At London we went to the Rainforest café. There was a lot of noise. They had the sound of thunder and animal’s noises. There were loads of animals as well the moved and mad noises. They were fake. Camille loved it!
This is our new home for a couple of weeks. The marina is still very busy with charter boats so we get so see a different side to sailing life.
A trickle of boats, turns into a flood.
Anastasia even found one with her name on it!
We've been to the town a few times now, but it's still fun to explore.
A game of swimming tag around the boat is a favourite of the crew and it won't be long before it too cold to play.
Meanwhile Paul and Robyn take the opportunity to make a quick dash for the beach.
We were looking forward to a quiet night, in a quiet bay, after Nidri unexpectedly entered party mode the night before. Unfortunately, two English boats decided they really liked our spot and tied up next to us... right next to us! Very cosy. We got hear their collective stories well into the night..
Still we managed to get up in the morning and walk over the hill to the Chora, or old town. When we got back to our little bay it was time for a drink.
We're an ordinary family of 5 dreaming, planning and now beginning our adventure around the Mediterranean (and further afield), having an awesome time! Look out for our boat and come and say hi.
